Sunflower Skeletons

 

Happy Labor Day.

For today’s I used black and calypso coral cs. Embossed layer was done with Sizzix 3-D Halloween ef. For the picture I Googled skeleton sunflower clip art. Sentiment was printed on the computer. I used my antique photo paper cutter for the picture and word strips, then used a cotton ball with black stamp pad to darken the word strips and popped them all up.

Halloween Trellis

 

Hello and welcome. Since I’ve really enjoyed making trellis cards, I thought that design would could make a cool Halloween card. I found the patterned paper across the top panel online then saved it to my Halloween file. For this card I just resized it. I started thinking the “planks” would look pretty cool cut from distressed wood pp. So of course I Googled Distressed wood background paper and found just what I wanted. Skull is a sticker I found in my stash, bats, spiders, ghost are die cuts also found in my stash. I added red stickles to the bats, yellow to the spiders and black to the ghost’s eyes. Top of ghost is popped with double pop dots, other images just have single pop dots.

Skeleton Witch

 

Hello and welcome. Embossing folder used is from The Paper Studio, drippy goo is a Martha Stewart border punch, skeleton, hat and sentiment are all from the Silhouette. First, I colored the ef with a black stamp pad but didn't really like the result so then I rubbed the stamp pad all over the embossed piece. It looks kind of messy and weird, but I like it. After cutting the skull I backed it with black paper. Sentiment was cut from red cs so I colored the bat with a Copic then used a cotton ball and black ink to dirty up the words. I also used the cotton ball on the drippy goo.

Hello and welcome. Again, my background paper was found online. Silhouette images are from the Silhouette, ghosts are from a very old Provo Craft metal multi-images die. After getting the Silhouette images sized right it was fairly easy to make.

Floating Ghost

 

Hello and welcome. It's been a while since I've entered the Two Old Bats challenge, so I decided it's about time to get back to it.

Today's card was quite simple. Pp was found online, and Mr. Creepy is from the Silhouette. I sort of softened him with a cotton ball and Basic Gray stamp pad. He's double popped up. Using a single pop dot didn't raise him quite enough so I doubled them. Jus before I took the picture, I thought the eyes needed a little something, so I added Black Diamond Stickles.
